BLUEBERRY MUFFINS #1

2 cups All Purpose flour                                       
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups blueberries
1/2 cup butter
1 cup + 2 Tablespoons sugar
2 large eggs at room temperature
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 375 F.
Combine flour, baking powder,and salt in bowl.  In separate bowl toss 2 Tablespoons flour mixed with berries.  Beat butter and 1 cup sugar in larger bowl until light and fluffy.  Beat  in eggs, one at a time.  Add remaining flour mix alternately with milk and vanilla.  Crush 1/2 cup berries and stir into batter.  Fold in remaining berries.  Spoon into prepared muffin cups and sprinkle with remaining sugar. 
Bake 25 - 30 min., until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
